Reiki Training Courses at Sunset Farm
Claire offers both private and small group Reiki Training Courses in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Reiki Level 1 (also called 1st Degree Reiki or "Shoden" in Japanese) is the first level of Reiki training and is mainly about self-healing. Reiki is wonderful for stress relief and for bringing mind, body and soul into balance. Level 1 training also enables you to use this gentle healing energy on your friends, family and pets. Reiki is open to everyone and you do not have to hold any particular beliefs to be trained in Reiki. Many people choose to learn Reiki simply for their own self-healing, personal development and to share Reiki with their loved ones. For those who wish to deepen their learning and to go on to practice Reiki professionally, the next step is Reiki Level 2.
The fee for the Reiki level 1 course is £160, with £80 deposit paid on booking and the balance of £80 paid one week in advance of your chosen course date by cheque or bank transfer. Your pre-course training manual and CDs will be posted to you on receipt of your deposit.
Reiki Level 2 (also called 2nd Degree Reiki or "Okuden" in Japanese) is required if you wish to practice on the public (or their pets), regardless of whether you will be charging for the sessions or not. Level 2 deepens your knowledge and strengthens the flow of Reiki. You will also learn more about Mindfulness and the Reiki Precepts that are touched upon briefly at level 1. You will also learn new techniques to tailor your practice to each individual client, and learn how to send Reiki at a distance. Guidance is also given to help you set up in practice yourself should you require it.

Reiki Master & Teacher (also called 3rd Degree Reiki or "Shinpiden" in Japanese). This level of Reiki represents a quantum shift in your healing ability. It accelerates your personal and spiritual development and allows you to train others in the gift of Reiki. It allows you to clear blocks in yourself and others by strengthening your healing and intuitive abilities.

Equine Reiki Level 1 Course (Basic Equine Reiki) Horses and ponies are very sensitive to energy and Reiki is a perfect way of offering them gentle healing for mind, body and soul in a non-invasive way. This course is open to anyone who has completed Reiki 1st Degree (Shoden) for humans.
Students will work with a variety of horses in a number of different ways. The course has been designed to give students confidence whilst giving Reiki to horses and includes basic safe ways of handling horses, an introduction to their physiology and the best approach to take with Reiki for the different types of personalities and temperaments of horses that you may come across both on the day and in the future.
You will receive an Equine Reiki Manual for you to read before the course and a certificate on completion of the live day course. The course runs from 10am to 4pm approximately and costs £180 per person (£90 deposit required on booking and balance of £90 to be paid on the day). Equine Reiki Level 2 Course (Advanced Equine Reiki) The Advanced Equine Reiki Course is open to students who have completed their Reiki 2nd Degree Course (Okuden) for humans, and their Equine Reiki Level 1 (Basic) and would like to take their skills further. During the course we work with CKR, SHK, HSZSN, Distant Healing, Chakras, Reiju Ho and a touch on Equine Communication.
You will receive an Equine Reiki Manual for you to read before the course and a certificate on completion of the live day course. The course costs £180 per person (£90 deposit required on booking and balance of £90 to be paid on the day) and there will be a maximum of 4 people on each course. Equine Reiki Level 3 Course (Equine Reiki Master Practitioner) This course is open to students who have completed Reiki 2 (Okuden) for humans and the Advanced Equine Reiki Course. This course consists of 2 full days from 10am - 4.30pm.
Throughout this course we use further exercises to develop your intuition and new techniques to treat the horse. The course content includes: use of the kotodoma, soul healing, empowering the horse, working with the aura, becoming the horse, the Heart Chakra symbol and Communication. Students work with the horses on a 1:1 basis.
You will receive an Equine Reiki Manual for you to read before the course and a certificate on completion of the live day course. The course costs £350 per person (£175 deposit required on booking and balance of £175 to be paid on the day) and there will be a maximum of 4 people on each course.
