Arena hire
Our arenas are available for hire to individuals, groups or riding club events.
Arena hire costs from £10/hour; if you come to Sunset Farm for a lesson with Claire, then there is no charge for using the arena.
Indoor
The Indoor Arena at Sunset Farm is 30m x 15m and has a Premier Cushion Track riding surface which provides a high degree of impact absorption. The arena is suitable for both flatwork and jumping; jump wings and poles are available.
As well as good natural lighting, electric lighting is also available, allowing the arena to be used in the evenings. There is also a small viewing gallery with tea and coffee making facilities and a toilet.
Outside there is a large area of concrete providing off-road parking for lorries and trailers where horses can be safely loaded and unloaded.
Outdoor
The Outdoor Arena at Sunset Farm is 60m x 25m and has a Sand, Fibre and Rubber Mix riding surface which provides a high degree of impact absorption. The arena is suitable for both flatwork and jumping; jump wings and poles are available.
Access is via the field entrance and there is a large area of hardstanding for lorries and trailers where horses can be safely loaded and unloaded.
